Well, you're talking about the lithium hook....as far as I know there is
no way to include this in sp. There is a grapple for single player tho,
I have the mod and although it's no where near as good as the lithium,
it's kind of cool to use a grapple in sp mode. I can't remember where I
got the hook mod from but if you want it I can send it to you.

Yup, I remember having this conversation before. Ppl were complaining
that the game wasn't "realistic" enough. There were others, including
myself, that pointed out if it was made more realistic you wouldn't be
able to carry all the armor let alone 10 weapons and the ammo for all of
them. That's just scratching the surface of why it would be not only not
really possible to make a good realistic game, but also ridiculouss to
even try. Besides that, I haven't seen too many ppl get shot and then
walk over a med kit and be instantly healed......=-)
You are confusing realistic with real. Realistic means...take this
possibility. If this were possible how would this other thing react? A
more realistic object is something that acts like you think it would
*IF* it were able to do this.
Basically you're changing one thing (or several depending on what you
want to do) in reality while leaving the rest intact.

Well, I guess you could use a really powerful magnet. But you'd have to have
some bigass steel building.

yup.

yeah man! No respawning and blasting down the dude with the ping of 10, that has
the chaingun right from behind!

and...if it had real players, you might miss an ear.

well, shotgun is fairly realistic, I mean a drum ammo thing might be nice.

yeah, realistic jumping means it sux.

the shotgun and machinegun. well, really the shotgun should blow a big hole into
you and kill you in one shot w/ no armor. and the machinegun should take no more
than 3 (2 to the heart, 1 to the head)

It must be they use those Eaon Flux knee things.

well, lets face it, it's in the distant future, therefore realism is out of the
question entirely anyway!
