ACE's New and Improved Rail Server

ACE72[SC]
expect when I got 24 ppl jammed onto my half-life server? I've
found a new mod, one that is almost like a lithium/battleground
deluxe combo. To save a long winded post on my part, just read up
on all the cool features and schtuff at;

Here's a teaser though. Mod allows (if server admin allows it,
ahem) you to vote on all game parameters, even the type of game!
You can switch to 1 vs 1, back to dm, play teams, whatever you
want. So if y'all find yourself on my server with some other
people, you can pair up and have teams, which can help offset
hpb's with lpb's if they team up fairly. And also divide Rail
Only teams with the veterans and the newbies. Oh and did I
mention that if you logon all by your lonesome and are patiently
waiting for others to arrive that you can spawn up to 4 Gladiator
bots to come in and kick your ass? Hehe.
And on a related note, the ngWorldStats link describes a tracking
and rating system that is pretty good, and not as flawed as
theclq is. Worthwhile reading.

Ace. it seemed great when I was on the other day. I like the bot add-on
feature. how do I do that if I go on. Is that a dumb question. should
set up a 4 on 4 rail team. some night. An even it out by experience and
ping.

I love the idea of bots..and the server is working well for me also.

Rule of thumb. Never play with someone who pings under 10. by the wiz. Good
game there the other day.

I am downloading the package now myself. I like to run LAN parties
here and desire to have as many methods of enjoying Quake on my system
as possible. Pray for me when I go for RA2 and LMCTF later. I am
tired of waiting for TCI and AT&T to stop their fight over turning on
my node!
