First, I have three comments about today's Cardcaptors.
1. Doesn't the Dash Card look a little bit like either one of the legendary
cats in Pokemon GS or a big Cabbit?
2. Who else thought of the 1988 Olympics when the girl was running the 100m
dash with some help from the Dash Card?
3. A lot of similaries on today's Pokemon and Cardcaptors (a character named
Jessie, a 100m dash scene).
Anyway, now for the Pokemon episode.
Very cute seeing Togepi salute along with the humans.
Someone in the Pokemon writing team must have a clever sense of humor as seen
with the Wartortle version of the Army March Chant.
Schyther (sp?) gets involved in this episode when trying to clear Weezing's
smog and helping with the fire. It looks like it's not going to be to Tracey
what Charizard was to Ash.
Okay, which animator forgot to draw Togepi's face in one scene? That, like the
two-beaked Biyomon in one of the Etemon episodes of Digimon is very easy to
notice.
It was very interesting to see Meowth Party in Japanese, especially since
Meowth Party was part of the Gamecube demo in this year's Spaceworld. BTW, I've
finally noticed Bellossum in the CGI bit.

It looked a lot like Eifi or espeon in the english version. But his power was
speed, and not psyshic. I swea I thought I heard Kari`s voice in that ep of
cardacptors. Why are they showing more filler eps and not the ones that amtter
to the plot? ex.charizard chills and Misty meets her match. I really want to
see Misty meets her match!

"Charizard Chills" airs next weekend, and "Misty Meets her Match" airs the
following weekend, along with "Pokemon Double Trouble".
I'm not sure why they're running the episodes out-of-order.

Can't speak for the card, but the first time I saw "Hoppy" at a distance it
looked like a svelt version of Gatomon. :-)

I was pleasantly surprised. When Meowth said to "stay tuned for Meowth's
Party, I thought they were planning on rerunning the same exact one from last
week.
As for the episode, it was okay, but kind of dull. I liked the continuity in
the fact that the writers remembered Tracy didn't know about Squirtle's past
and had scenes explaining the sunglasses. What is it with Ash's Pokemon,
though? Half of them are pro-evolution (well, Pidgeotto was probably
neutral), the other half aren't and really resent their evolved forms. (Okay,
maybe not Bulbasaur for that last part, but he definitely doesn't want to
evolve.)
Strange mix.

The writer's probably want him to appear to still be a bit of an
underdog, also maybe they don't want him to appear too powerful walking
along with a Venusaur, a blastoise, and a charizard. I've noticed
something abou Ash's pokemon.
Pidgeotto/Pidgeot: stays on team for a long time, then evolves and is
released in the same episode.
Primeape: Caught as evolved, given away a few episodes later.
Kingler/Muk: caught and never used (except in the pokemon league) Stay
at Oak's so (from the writers POV) they are allowed to stay in his
possesion.
Charizard: Big, Bad, but disobidient, (last time I checked) so he is
allowed to stay on Ash's team.
Snorlax: biggest pokemon, hardly (if ever) allowed to fight. Usually
comes out for a bit of comic relief, so he is allowed to stay on team
Lapras: Used for transport, never actually seen her fight though, same
deal as Charizard and Snorlax.
Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur: Ash's smallest pokemon and his most oft
used. Coincidence? Most likely ^_^

I have to agree with Raptor, it appeared most similar to Eefi (or whatever it will
be called in English).

It's Scyther. As to its performance, it's still doing better than it should be
able to.
In it's first episode, it was established that this Scyther is beyond its prime.
It's supposed to have character as a grizzled old warrior. That came across quite
clearly in the animation at the beginning of Revelation Lugia. The problem is that
the writers in the series just can't really figure out what to do with that other
than having it be winded after performing a superhuman spinning manuever.

Also they have to take into account that the people who watch the show
aren't necessarily hardcore pokemon players ;)

Most used.
Starters...
Hmm ;)
