I was pretty surprised to see that this trick actually worked! However, I didn't
get a Psyduck, I got a L139 Starmie, x2 L128 Cloysters, and a few screwed up
Missingnos (spelled ### 'M ##, with glitchy parts where the "#s" are written).
Didn't try to experience any of them yet... Oh well, thought I would share my
experience.
Anyone else give it a shot??? I wonder how many other things (are there any?) will
cause glitches of this sort (besides the Missingno trade trick)

one,and used a rare candy on it.It evolved into Kanghaskahn(I looked wierd, it
said #%#$'M
was evolving all it had was a picture of a Kanghaskahn standing there with the
usual music). So, you didnt run into golduck?What version are you using?Have
you caught Missingno. before(The normal one)? What did you do before talking to
the old man?

"Missingno can screw up your game" complaints. I've already lost again once (still

their current levels doesn't make it fake...try it for yourself, if you're

You like the Blue version better, except for the cases of Scyther and
Oddish's evolutions. You prefer tough and final-evolution Pokémon, over
their overly-cute previous forms. You also like Hitmon's that have necks
*g*. You prefer Pokémon to have hard-hitting normal attacks
over special attacks (In the case of Kabuto's scratch over Omanyte's Water
gun. Either that or you don't like ancient seashells *g*) You also like
Vaporeon because Flareon is too weak, and because you don't like electric
Pokémon (i.e. Jolteon) and because you never had
Jolteon.

secondly: its not the fact that they are in there.. but catch them.. and when
the Level up, they go back to 100, and anyway, stats cant go higher than level
100, so they might have level's of 129 or 139, but they arent real, they are
just level 100's with a different number? we all clear, i gotta go check that
code any way.

This is bugging me now.. ALL I get are level 0, 80, and 146 Missingno., and
occaisionally i'll run into the low-level critters that reside north of
Cerulean (abra, bellsprout, etc) but NOTHING high level except
Missingno.....
Also, i noticed one of my items in the list is scrambled.. and when i tried
to put it back in the computer, it was actually about 135 (full heals, btw)
and now a different one scrambled (HYPER POTIONS!! YES!!) but to be safe,
i'm storing the extras in the puter..

I've come to the conclusion that you are only allowed up to TWO (not two times, two
different Pokemon, but I think someone got three) high-level Pokemon...that is, until
someone proves me wrong. On my Blue, I got a L139 Starmie, and a L128 Cloyster, on
Red.
Seems like there's no pattern or form to who you get either, that's what really
strange about the whole deal.
And, if you don't get one of the "choice" Pokemon, you get the 0, 80, or 1?? screwed
up Missingno...or some random lower level variation Pokes.

I got it to work on my Red version. I talk to the guy say yes, fly, surf,
but I fight only 146 Missingno. 80 (name is screwed but I think its a
Missingno.) or 0 Screwed up name. If I catch a lv. 146 my screen doesn't
corrupt, it just doesn't show my Pokemon.

I said yes and I got those three different Pokemon, also after I catch the
lvl. 80 missingno. the battle continues and I throw another Ultra ball and
catch a ditto, then it continues again and I can catch a lvl 80 ( you won't
believe this but it's true ) Articuno!!!!!! the battle cont. but I end up
killing the Pokemon. So now I have two Articuno's and I rule!!!! Also, I
hear people say that Missingno. is type one:flying type two:poison, but in
my game he is flying/normal. And Evee is norm too, so I am geussing that
Missingno. is either the unevolved form for any legendary bird OR an
advanced stage of (but less powerful version) Topegi, the egg Pokemon.
Another thing that may explain this is the fact that Nintendo made this as
a way to get Mew in the game unoticed. They just revealed that Mew DOES
EXIST but only they can get him. So I believe there is a way to get Mew in
the American Version.

ps the pokemon degrades if it gains experience points, i had a lv. 148 golduck,
then it gained like 50 exp. points, and before when i checked the stats(way
bigger diff than lv 100) it said 17500 exp. points before it grows.

yes. That was my conclusion a while back. Most get two, some get one, and
very few get three. Everyone gets random Missingno glitches as well.

and on my blue cartridge, I got a L139 Starmie, and a L128 Cloyster.

it's very random, and as far as I know, there is NO WAY of changing which
high level Pokemon you get...that is until someone proves me wrong =)

My goal: To create a kick-@$$, all L100 Pokémon team without the legandary
birds, Eeveeloutions, starters, Mewtwo, or Mew.
Poké analysis:
You like the Blue version better, except for the cases of Scyther and
Oddish's evolutions. You prefer tough and final-evolution Pokémon, over
their overly-cute previous forms. You also like Hitmon's that have necks
*g*. You prefer Pokémon to have hard-hitting normal attacks
over special attacks (In the case of Kabuto's scratch over Omanyte's Water
gun. Either that or you don't like ancient seashells *g*) You also like
Vaporeon because Flareon is too weak, and because you don't like electric
Pokémon (i.e. Jolteon) and because you never had
Jolteon.

through/used a Hyper Beam from a level 141 Snorelax! ^_^ Also, if you use Rare
Candies on l:100+ pokemon, they don't go to level 100, they increase a level.
