locking down. Alice and Alysia followed behind him. "Erika! You
home?!"
Erika appeared out from behind some shrubbery. "RK! You're back! how'd
it go with Surge?" RK recounted his tail. After listening, Erika
scowled a bit. "So that's why my gloon was missing a peice of his leaf.
You could have asked you know. I have plenty of Gloom leaves in reserve
for such a thing."
"I know, but for what I had planned, I needed the anti-venom as fresh as
possible. Your Gloom was very brave about it. And I owe her a favor in
return."
"Now, RK, are you going to tell me who these two girls are?"
"Erika, this is Alice and Alysia, two ggirls who were interested in
working for you."
"For me? Um ... well... First let me introduce myself. I'm Erika,
Leader of this gym and Master of the Rainbow badge. You want to work
here, huh?"
Alice and Alysia shook their heads, being rather nervous to talk.
"Nervous eh? Well, it's late, so let's give you a place to sleep.
Where's that... I swear, Hyper was right behind me a moment ago."
Alice and Alysia nealy freaked. HYPER?!? He nearly tore them apart
before! If he recognized them their cover would be blown!
As if he could read their minds, Jolteon ran off and came back with an
Alakazam following him. Apparently they were discussing something.
Alice and Alysia prayed for the best.
Hyper walked up to them and... bowed. "Kazam! Ala ka alakazam!"
RK watched this and said, "I think he's saying hello."
Alice and ALysia chuckled nervously and just smiled.

Alice and Alysia were in their room. Alice was checking out the uniforms
they would have to wear while working in Erika's gym.
Alice held one up to her and examined herself in the mirror. "They don't
look rather bad. I guess when you manufacture perfume, you also have to
have some fashion sense. Do you think this looks nice Alysia?"
Alysia frowned. "I'm going to hate this you know. Every second I'm
here. I don't understand exactly why we have to protect him. If it a
pokemon Giovanni wants, why didn't he just say so?"
"Maybe because he really wants us to guard RK. Do you think I should
wear these shoes with this uniform?"
"Nah, go with the red ones. RK was a target for 7 years according to the
Black Book. Now suddenly he's a Rocket VIP? Besides, we wouldn't be
good as Bodyguards. Someone more talented would suit, like Dreadite...
isn't he the one with the vicious Scyther?"
"I think so. I heard he had his Scyther cut right into an Onix. No
bracelets."
"What?"
"Uniforms guidelines say no bracelets are to be worn. In fact, the only
thing you're allowed to wear is a necklace. Bah. Practicality bites. I
love my earrings."
"Will you focus? RK agreed to use us. He's plotting something himself.
I don't know what."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE ROCKETS?!" Erika screamed. RK told Erika about
their plan.
"Calm down. Hyper would have gotten to them if they really intended any
harm. I have him keeping a constant surveillance on them. One false
move and he paralyzes them. Besides, they were really interested in
raising new pokemon other than the Hypno and Muk."
"Have you forgotten what Rockets have done to my gym before?"
"Yes, and those were different Rockets. They could have taken me by now
anyway if they wanted to. Apparently Giovanni has other plans. I think
it has something to do with the Mews that have been hanging around here."
"Which I still don't beleive. Why didn't you tell me about them before?"
"They asked me not to and trusted me. Now, it's safe. I don't have any
reason to doubt them."
Erika suddenly seemed scared. "I don't like this. We're sleeping with
the enemy here and inviting another to join in!"
"Not really. If you think about it, Mewtwo has been a problem for
Giovanni before, especially when he couldn't control it. He wants him
captured. The Mews considered him to be a part of their family. They
want him captured. Mewtwo is a threat to everyone's well being. We want
him captured. Essentially, we're all in the same boat."
Erika just sat down and started crying. "W..when my gym got set on fire
before, I nearly lost Gloom. It nearly killed me. Then that weird
pokemon came through and destroyed my gym completely. I lost a couple
friends in that." She hugged him and held him tight. "I don't want to
lose anyone else, especially not you or Gloom."
"For now, we can't worry about that. I won't leave and I doubt Gloom
will either."

<FWEEEET!!> One of Erika's assistant blew a whistle. She was put in
charge of Alice and Alysia's training. "Alright you two! Shape up!
We'll start with exercise!"
Alice looked perplexed. "Exercise? What are you talking about?"
"A good trainer exercises her pokemon and exercises with them! Let's
start with a couple laps around the gym! Exeggutor, lead the way!" An
Exeggutor started jogging with his trainer behind him. Alice and Alysia
followed behind her with their Bellsprout and Oddish. After the first
lap, the 4 were completely exhausted!
<FWEEET!> "Alright, hit the showers! Classes start in an hour! GO!"
Erika watched the entire thing. "If those Rockets are really serious
about this, they'll live through the first few weeks I have planned.
Otherwise, their true colors will show before then."
