I'm thinking to buy a porygon in Kanto, but can anyone tell me what it's
advantages and disadvantages are. Could you also tell me some good moves of
porygon (or porygon2)

Porygon's biggest advantage is the "Conversion2" move, which changes
porygon's pokémon type to the one most resistant to the move last used on
it, it also learns "recover", and can take some good TMs...

The only disadvantage is that porygon has to take one hit to be able to use
"Conversion2", but "Recover" can compensate for that.

I may be a bit biased, but i'm a porygon fanatic, my porygon has the moves
"Swift", "Conversion2", "Recover" and "Psybeam"...

Is porygon2 better dan porygon? And if i buy porygon, does it already know

And why doesn't it have Psychic instead of Psybeam? -_-

Porygon2 is superior in every manner to Porygon barring that you can
trade Pory back to RBY; and no.

Because i think "Psybeam" suits it more, i use the pokémon i like, with the
moves i like to use (my favorite pokémon is misdreavus, while she's
generally regarded as weak), i don't do any link battles or anything, so i
don't really care about getting all the best pokémon with all the strongest
moves (this is also the reason i didn't evolve porygon, i just like porygon
better than porygon2, and when it's ME playing, MY opinion is all that
counts :P )
