I am trying to find the CD Key to register at Bioware.com. They just
tell you to enter it - I can't find it anywhere? I did preorder from
EB. Where is it? On the CD? In the documentation? Right under my
nose?

Thanks.

It's printed on the inside cover of the manual, labeled "CD KEYCODE".

Mine, (UKver.) is printed on the back of the manual, which makes me wonder
what differences there are to the two copies? My CDs are all dark (no 3
colour ones like ive seen elsewhere), came in paper sleeves and contained
within a cardboard box. I've also heard tale of a cloth map being mentioned
previously, is this correct? Not that any of this matters coz the game is
same, but I was just wondering.

Well down here (Australia) we got the cloth map, the three colour CDs, and
the CD Key is on the inside of the front cover. The paper sleeves and box
are the same though.

I've thrown out the box, moved the CDs the my CD sleeve storage thing, and
am trying to work out whether the map is actually useful for anything, like
drying dishes, glass cleaner, silverware polishing etc....

Yep, sounds the same as the US version.

How did you install the game without it?

(I'm assuming that's the first thing someone does when buying a new
game, rather than registering it...)

And yes, I am absent minded!

Oh well....

I could not get into the free modules anyway. I did not preorder
through EB World, I oredered at the EB store. My key is much too long
to fit into the small space they provide.

Odd, I thought it was inside the back cover on the australian version,
and they had to make special CD's because they spin backwards down
there.

Just a popular myth. It's right up there with dropbears and that other
countries actually exist outside the US.

(jokes... :) )

Still can't match the old Ultima hankies, IMO.
