I'm running NWN 1.31, a USB Intellimouse Explorer 4.12, ATI Radeon 9500
Catalyst 3.6, AMD Athlon 1.0, and Windows XP Pro and my cursor inevitably
disappears sometime into the game. I've disabled Hardware Mouse through the
game for the time being and although I still lose the contextual cursors, it
saves me when THE cursor disappears and the default pointing-hand cursor
remains. I inevitably must reboot the machine as whenever I exit the game,
my Windows cursor is kaplooie.

Any idea how I might fix this? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled
drivers to no avail. I've searched the site forums but only found the
disable hardware mouse suggestion but it's really just a bandaid.

This is going to sound stupid but hey, it's the net. I occasionally have
trouble with the default windows cursors on my laptop disappearing (just
the default, arrow with sandtimer, sandtimer and others appear
normally). If I change to any other cursor options like 'inverse' or
'large' (this is in the Windows Mouse Control Panel applet) then the
cursors never disappear. Try that and see if they'll stick around in NWN.
