Hi folks!

For anyone who might be interested, I successfully installed NWN2 on my new
PC without any problems. (Win7 | 2.8 GHz |4GB RAM)

I installed NWN2 first, then updated, then MotB, then more updates, then
SoZ, then even more updates. (All took about 2 hours and 11 GB total.)

I'm definitely enjoying the game for its differences, and of course the
graphics are amazing. Two things that baffled me right away though are:
[1] How can I create "pins" on the Mini-Map? (I can see the pre-generated
ones but can't figure out how to make my own like in NWN1.)
[2] How can I change the party "order"? (I prefer to have certain characters
in certain slots, but can't figure out how to change it from any menu.)

Thanks in advance!

I did it by installing NWN2, then MotB, then SoZ, and only then updating.
Installing SoZ obviates the need for several of the updates and saves you a
bunch of time.

Can't do this in NWN2. There is a "Notes" tab in the journal where you can
write yourself notes, but I never found this useful.

Can't do this either. They stack in the order they join the party, so if
you want to shift them around, you have to dismiss them and take them on
again in the order you want them stacked.

Sorry not to be able to give you the answers you wanted.

H Mark!

Thanks for answering, even though as you said the info wasn't what I'd hoped
for.
I kind of expected that, but figured what the heck - worth a try, etc....

I'm still enjoying it though, it's like a blend of Morrowind meets Dungeon
Siege <g>

My party members will switch their order at random it seems. It has happened 8 or 9 times so far. One of them will just switch positions out of nowhere and there have been no member additions or subtractions.

Thanks,
Hope there might be a way nowadays, since my post here is 7 years later lol
