NWN Toolset crashes...

Hello. I am experiencing constant crashes with the Neverwinter Nights
Aurora Toolset, usually when opening object properties, etc.

Usually, I get a complete system crash and restart. The blue screen
error is something like "PAGE ERROR IN NON-PAGED AREA". I'm running
Win XP on a real new Athlon machine (2100, Ti4400 gfx card) that's
been crash free for months with many games (including NWN), and I've
tried compatibility modes and disabling virtual memory with no
success.

Occasionally, I get a read access violation error in a pop-up window
that simply will not go away which also renders my system unusable
until I reset. And every once in a while, the toolset runs fine but
after closing will leave my system unable to launch any other programs
(ie. the NWN game) until I reset.

I understand the toolset is unstable, but this is practically
unusable. Any suggestions appreciated!

First, have you updated to the latest patch (1.23)? Second, have you
gone into Tools>Options and turned OFF "Use environment mapping on
Creatures and Objects"? (This latter is a known issue, and it actually
tells you on the Options dialogue to turn this off if you are
experiencing crashes.)

Hi. After noticing a similar problem in a post on the NWN board, I
tried updating my video drivers to the latest detonator drivers. I
have an ASUS video card and was trying to get by with their drivers,
but alas... so maybe this will fix it - only had a chance to test it
for an hour or so - and help out anyone else with the same problem.
