I think there's a new expansion for Dragon Age in the works and there's a
new Witcher game scheduled for next year. That's about all I know but then
I've been playing Mass Effect for the last couple of months (don't ask why
I'm so behind the times with that) and have lost touch a bit. There's a
vampire thing in the works too but I haven't yet seen a release date for
that.

Best wishes

You can read the R A Salvatore trilogy about the new Neverwinter. The first
book came out last year, the next is due in October 2011, and the last in
the following year. The city of Neverwinter is leveled and ... well read or
play the game based on it when released.

Is the book any good? Never actually read any of salvatore's stuff.

I finished the NWN2 OC campaign and it was sort of "meh". Haven't
finished the first expansion and probably will not do so unless really
bored.

I am still looking for and playing NWN1 modules; actually replaying
one at the moment (forgot that I had played this previously until I
started playing again and had that deja vu feeling)

I started reading fantasy by picking up the Halfling's Gem trio of books by
Salvatore and thoroughly enjoyed them. His style is based on fight action
and movements by his character. I cannot truthfully say they are great
books, but I enjoyed them. As with any "superhero" type characters, after a
couple of books or movies you realize that the main characters cannot die so
that detracts from the first books when anything could happen. However, in
his last novels some main characters have died...sad, but yay! Please....
please.... stay dead. I hope they do not find a magical way to resurrect
them or I am gone.

I digress, his books are not Tolkien but have morals and stories that
separate, twist and meet back again, leaving just enough undone for the next
sequel. His biggest creation, the dark elf Drittz is becoming darker and
more brooding as he outlives most of his friends. So the world changes and
sometimes I don't like the direction, but hey, if I had talent I'd write my
own that others could complain about.
