I'm currently in Port Llast in Chapter 2
and am looking for the fastest way to get a bag of holding
(or something else to help my weak wizard carry more stuff)...
I "could" off load stuff but I would prefer a bag..

You've already missed at least one in chapter 1. IIRC, the Many Starred
Cloak guild has one on sale in the special inventory, to which you as Wizard
should have had access, unless you didn't bother with becoming a guild
member. There might have been another in chapter 1, don't remember where.

You have two place in Port Llast where you can purchase a Magic Bag.
One is Colmarr's magic shop, and the other is the Mercantile. There
he sells Magic Bags and/or there is the Red Wizard of Thay Arto Webber
to the side in the store.
