I can see the logic of it(somewhat), but it really irked me in the way they
all but forced one to switch henchmen in entering the Underdark proper. Darn
Mad Mage.
I really do not think I'll be playing along with that when I write the
tale(if I ever do, natch). That it was done in so well-executed a manner was
almost worse than the event itself. I had no interest in a repeat-Viconia,
and the halfling...well, suffice to say first impressions were mutual in the
extreme.
I may have overlooked some options or whatnot, henchman-wise, but really!
(Did not play the part with a same-sex(non-love interest) companion, but
suspect they would've been allowed along. Yes, I'm paranoid like that.(and,
of course, Deekin was...))
(Wonder if the others' reasons for being transported back topside(or not)
were the same as for the bard, though...would be both intriguing and
annoying if it weren't. <g>)

Nathyrra is nothing like Viconia except for being a female drow.

Deekin alone goes to the second chapter with you. Daelan, Sharwyn,
Linu, or Tomi don't. Your sex doesn't matter.

"Elfseeker" <elfs...@c2i.net> looked up from reading the entrails of
the porn spammer to utter "The Augury is good, the signs say:

Deekin is kinda your faithful sidekick, and having been with you through
all the crap in SoU is willing to follow you even into hell.
He believes in you.

The rest of them don't really know you, are sensible and bowed out of a
trip to hell.

Don't remember the particulars, but the bard was returned topside due to a
bit of disagreement with the mad mage. Good thing both companions went
simutaneously, or the half-elf just might've popped 'im one. :P

Aside from that...
*glares at bard* some vote of confidence, then. *snort*
