SO...we killed everything there was to kill in the prison...got to the
4th level of the pits...a zobie guy walked up to my character and a
conversation opeion ensued...she told him something like "Get with it,
guy" and he walked off while a pitched battle ensued. Everyone had
little swirlies around them when struck which I assumed was the devourer
hopping from host to host...killed everything...but I think the Head
Gaoler walked away! I have searched all over the frekaing prison and
cannot find him. Any ideas? I also went through and searched every body
that was left over for the remains...no dice. No Head Gailer. Could he
have escaped out into the Penninsula? (please...say no...)...the guard
that was left down in the pits congratulated us on cleaning out the
place so I am thinking there aren't any more prsioners to slay...

did you fight the devourer? small thing that appears after fighting its last
host? when it dies its remains are sometimes hard to spot.

I don't know...there was a huge melee fight down there with my
character, my animal companion, my 3rd level animal, and my henchman
...so I don't know who was killing whom...or what....we killed
everything that was in there...I'll go back down and scour the floor
again..maybe I missed something...I will be really ticked if I have to
start all over again because I can't find this thing...

I am happy to announce that the Intellect Devourer has been found. It's
paltry caracass had ended up right by a pillar where my scans had not
caught it!
Now I'm in the Begger's and have just dispatched the regerneating zombie
from hell in the wartehouse...
I am having way too much fun...

Yes....see what you did? I haven't opened Sims 2 since I got the
thing...poor Rexus Mentatus is probably wilting away in there...but
that's ok for now. I was getting really frustrated with Free Time and
disgusted with the choice for the enxt EP and then disgruntled to see
that Kitchens and Baths was a pile of problems..I'll go back to Sims but
needed a break...

Using the Tab key (IIRC) makes it easier to spot things you can
interact with, but sometimes you need to change the camera angle to
see things that are behind pillars, walls, etc

Thanks! I will try that in future!

Excellent suggestion. I forgot about that. It was a key I pressed often
(constantly) while playing Neverwinter Nights.

Yeah it's 'Z' with NWN2 - my key is already wearing out.

Best wishes

You can remap the key functions. The silly "let's change the key-
mappings from NWN1" was one of the NWN2 "features" I ranted against a
year or two back :-)

The 'how-to' was posted here, I believe - someone clued me in on that,
since I had obiously not read the manual :-)

I've been slightly more happy with NWN2 since I remapped the keys to
what I got used to, with NWN 1
