Whereabouts in Charwood is the Tome of fire? I Have passed my judgement and
the guardian, as promised has closed entry into the castle. Is it in the
castle?

Yep. Bad news unless you have an earlier save. You should have gotten two
of the tomes in the Charwood/Judge quest. One is located in each of the two
wings (Karlat's and Quint's -- the Tome of Fire is in Karlat's wing, IIRC).
For reference, all of the tomes' locations have a magical "aura" that
signals their location.

Below is a spoiler of the Tome of Fire formula if you want it

Fire beetle belly & quartz crystal plus fireball (I think that was the Tome
of Fire formula - I wrote them down after the quests but didn't include
which went with which Tome).

I do have an earlier save, but I am only doing multiple saves in case of the
save game messing up (as has happened twice). If I replay with a new
character I will know better, but this one is taking it as it comes. The
only reason I asked for this is that the search was starting to do my head
in and the castle was the only place I could think of that I couldnt search.
Oh well... ta anyways. :o)

There are two Tomes in Castle Jhaereg (does anyone else think the
writers read too much Steven Brust?), one in each brother's chambers.
I don't remember exactly which two they were, but I think they were
Fire and Death. Fire was in Karlat's chambers and Death in Quint's.

give the books to her anyway, in the Lab, there's a bookcase, there are
notes from each you have, in simplified form
