Yesterday, the Neopets games on my PC stopped loading. The window for
a game comes up when I press "click to play", but it's solid white and
nothing happens. (I get an hourglass mouse cursor over the window's
title bar, but the "loading game" display doesn't appear.)

Rebooted the operating system (Windows 98). No luck.
Reinstalled the latest Flash player from Macromedia. No luck.

Still can't get ANY game to work that I've previously played (Meerca
Chase, Bubble Yum, Korbat's Lab, Zurroball). Games I've never played
before still load normally. Help, please?

it looks like neopets is switching the flash games to shockwave, only the
games for which the change has been applied to are working.
like volcano run, and destuctomatch

In the news, they said they fixed it.

Though he is a person to whom things do not happen, perhaps they may when he
is on the other side.

Yes. Things are back to normal. I installed and configured new
versions of Flash, Shockwave and Internet Explorer, and the problem
was not on my site. Serves me right for spending time on the phone
with too many tech support groups.
