Donna), you can now create an account and a character.
They already have four flash games and a forum. It's more fun than I
thought.

Everything is still beta, but it's nice now, because it's a small community
and it's easy to register with the name of your choice.
I am Moondreams there and this time not with a zero in it. :)

Oh, I do hope the others will feel the same about this.
I guess half of the Neopets players moved there. :) At least the ones who
know how it was before it was sold.
Adam promised lots of plots, sounds great!
But that will all be in the future. For now it's only the flash games and
there are 'Achievements', a sort of avatars that you have to find on the
site. You get one for signing up in August or September, so only the first
players will have that one.
There is a forum and for now that is nice. But I know how that goes with
forums, after a while some people think they are the police and start being
rude to others. ;)
So it would be great if we have a place to discuss things here.
What is your name on Twin Skies, Yellow?
And are there others who signed up already?

Yes, I've signed up too. I've played a few games but am really just
lurking so far as there really isn't much to see yet.
Early days, but plenty of promise me thinks. :-)

- play the game in 2008
- send a score for one flash game
- playing Witchery 101 for one hour
- scoring 40k in Witchery 101, level mode
- win the art contest
- login for seven days
- random
- unknown
I have five so far. And trying my best for the 40k Witchery, but that is
really hard.
And further I am reading everything I can find on the site and on the help
sites. Adam said there will be plenty of plots. So all information might be
useful. I am trying to get familiar with the places that we can visit in the
future, the NPC's, etc.
It's keeping me quite busy :).

I have 4 so far, and as for 40K on level mode, no chance!
And I do not seem to be able to play the games when I am running
realplayer (which interestingly also buggers up keyquest on neopets) and
I use this in the evening to record off the radio (which is a higher
priority for me), so I am a bit limited for time some of the time.

I was lucky enough to find Neopets within a couple of months of it
opening up shop and have always felt that gave me an advantage (although
I lost it in the year out I took) so I am certainly sticking with this
site.
I am kind of hoping it might morph into a good site for grownups, not
least because it is going to be paid for, as neopets is getting a bit
too kiddyfied for me. But I do love Neopets plots!

I fear this will only get worse in the future. Such a shame it is... All

Not that much yet. You can play the flash games. The first three will get
you 'site points', 10 per game, no matter how the score is, five times a
day.
The fourth game, Om Nom Nom (Munch), is still in testing phase, so no site
points yet. But I can advise you to make it to the fourth level at least
once. It's funny :).
And in another post here I listed the Achievements.
You have to register separately for the forum, Adam is busy integrating
these two, but he had to go to PAX this weekend, so this has not happened
yet.
For the site account you should use a secret user name, only used for
logging in.
Then you create a character and give that character the name you want to use
on the forum.
You can register on the forum with that name.
When the 3D game comes out (next year) you will get the chance to change
everything on your character, the race, the class, the name, this is only
temporary. Bit this way you can register the name of your choice before all
is gone and you need a name with numbers, like M00ndreamz with zeros :).
And don't forget to take a look at the video blogs, some are very funny. :)
This week there will come a new class for the elves and I heard about a new
game too.
At the end of the week there will be duck races, whatever that may be.
It's still very under construction, but... if you ask something on the
forum, they reply, even Adam Himself does that.
I asked for a slot machine (I miss the Black Pawkeet so much) and Adam and
Ollie (the orange shirt guy) said they are working on this.

Did you register on the forum too? They are merging the forum and the site,
but that has to be done yet.

I'm working my way around Twin Skies. It took me until yesterday to
figure out how to register on the forum.
On Neopets I'm Angel_cat_1949 and on Twin Skies I'm CyberKitten. Please
add me to your friends list. I keep trying to add Soviet to my friends
list, but I'm doing something wrong. I do want to be a friend :>)

When I search for CyberKitten, it says 'that user does not exist'.
You need to give the name of your character, not of your account, maybe that
is the problem? :)
The name of your account, you should keep that secret, only for yourself to
login.
And there are two friends lists, one on the forum and one on the game
itself. You need to have the one of the game, this one:

The forum will be recoded and then this friends list will take priority.
Some people did not register with their character's name on the forum,
that's why you can't find them. I guess...
It's a bit chaotic still, but remember it's beta, they are working on it all
the time.

Oh wow! Really? I am going to check that!
At least now there is a way to check if we added the right person.
It's a bit confusing, but we will find out one day. :)
It's a pity that we don't get some sort of message when somebody added us as
a friend. That way it would be more easy to check.
