think that most of our FS fans can be the real pilots and fly most kinds of
jetliners.

instructed by professionals. From the comments on my post above, I truly
believe now that there was no way that somebody could have pulled this off
relying Just on FS. who ever did this was backed by a large and professional
organization that could easily have pulled this off without it. A copy of
FS professional cost 50 bucks and would arouse no suspicion in its purchase
and use in ones house. that was my logic in suggesting that it might have
been used in some way.

This is a typical kneejerk reaction.
While I respect your oppinion and Im not going to dissuade you from your
desition. I myself feel that the software is innocent. I also feel its not
just Flight Sim, but also all the other large flight simulators out there
who are capable of doing this. The software is a tool, put a screwdriver in
the hands of a repair man, and hell fix your dorrbell, put it in the hands
of a drugged up mass murderer and he will probably go kill someone with it.
Infact, if they were determined enough to cary out the plan, they would have
done anyway. Without any kind of practice simulation.
Do you really trust what a chairman says?.

Everyone knows that FS forwards your EMail, your position in the air and so
on... thats how the multiplayer functions work. And, with the right
software, you can see the data without the aid of flight sim.
If you want to get into consipiricy, dont forget about phone taps, data
recording, EMail sniffers, newsgroup filters and of course, everyones
favoret, the spy sattelite.
I will never stop using flight sim, Im inocent!.

Granted it's a small prop-driven plane, but it was said that if you have the
skill to pilot a small plane from take off to landing, you can feasibly
pilot a jet once it's in flight. No mention of FS being used.

can fly and navigate a real one.
