Is anyone using FS Earth for FSX? It combines the sim with Google Earth. If
it has already been discussed here I missed it.
If so what is it like?

I remember something bieng posted here about it a while back. I know I
wouldn't care to use it. Just some more static aerial photos to replace
simulated scenery. I sometimes use google earth to help me locate a strip in
FSX.

It's an excellent piece of software. It connects FSX to Google Earth and
gives the position of your aircraft and all AI aircraft as an overlay. Well
worth the cost!

Perhaps so---if one has an interesr in that sort of thing. I can't see
where it would fit in woiuld fit in any of my simming activities. I run FSX
only in full screen mode and don't see anything else when I'm flying. All I
care to see is what I'd be seeing through the windshied of a real plane I
was flying.

It's best run on a second monitor where you can zoom in or out at will and
see exactly what you are flying over. I also run in full screen mode which
is why it is better to use the second monitor.
