HI all
I read Capt Dave's blog yesterday and I am so amazed at his ability to
express just the right amount of information to get his story told. He
breathes realism into every post that you feel like you're looking over his
shoulder and listening to his thoughts at the same time. His love of flying
and the procedures comes through loud and clear. Even though I don't
understand 100% of his technical jargon, I never hesitate to read his blog
and wonder at his abilities.

If you're wondering when he finds the time to write this stuff... it's
probably when Fifi is on autopilot and he's got nothing else to do.

Dallas is probably right except that Dave would deny that due to FAA and
company restrictions and rules. :-)

Tom, have you gone back into the arfchive and read some old ones?
Lots of calls for Dave to put this all into a book when he retires.
I just wish there were at least 1 post a week. :-)

Years ago when I found the blog, I spent several DAYS going back to the
first post several years back. They are all worth reading, and if you
really have the time, read the comments too, because Dave responds to
many of the posts. Don't plan on finishing that any time soon, however.

Yes, Ken, I've read everything Dave has written since he was first brought
to the attention of this group. I would buy his book in a heartbeat!

I'd say, to stay on the right side of the rules, he'd talk his ideas
and notes for his blog items into his iPhone while still doing all the
alert PIC kinda stuff. He strikes me as that sort of bloke.
