I decided to check out Memphis, KMEM, the Fedex hub in the USA. WHAT! No
Fedex planes anywhere. The Fedex ramp is located right beside Runway 9. So
I read some in the UT2 Forums and learn the Fedex schedule is not included
in UT2.

One of the forum members, David Blitch, posted the Fedex schedule and some
of the most clearly explained (with pictures) instructions on how to add the
Fedex schedule to UT2. All instructions and links are in the download.

It requires additional downloads of the AI planes, A300, DC10, B,757, B777,
MC11, etc. Somewhat time consuming so might want to add a plane and the
Fedex paint...one per day.

Here are my results in video that show the ramp FULL of Feds. Then an almost
empty ramp an hour or so later.
This mass departure began around 4:00PM EDT or 2100Z (I think).

That's why, having had the original UT, I now use the free World of AI.
Good RL representation in that.

I have used WoAI as well on an earlier computer. Now, having used both...I
would like the UT2 AI stuff. WoAI you have to add EVERY carrier, best I
recall. UT apparently omitted very few. Fortunately, the WoAI installer is
about as easy to use as you will find anywhere. You do not even have to
unzip the individually downloaded paint files, since the installer actually
looks for the zip file.

Iain.
Can you do something to remove all of the generic AI aircraft and just
show the World Of AI aircraft ?

Cheers.

Pete.

Isn't it like that IRL? Fedex seem to depart all at once on some of the
time laps hi-alt radar track animations.

Now lets look at some package handling. Still want to ship with them?

Just remember, if you crash because of weather, your funeral will be held on
a sunny day.

Yes Pete. In FSX go into scenery/world/scenery and you'll see all your
WoAI traffic files, one for each livery. Further down you'll see the
generic traffic files for aircraft, boats, carriers. They are all bgl
files. If you don't want generic aircraft to appear, rename
TrafficAircraft.bgl to TrafficAircraft.bak. The same for any of the
others that you don't want.

In FS9 it's the same path (scenery/world/scenery) but there is just one
traffic file for all the generic aircraft which is Traffic030528.bgl.
Just rename that as above. That will also get rid of generic GA
aircraft. However, there is a free programme available on Avsim called
GA Traffic by Markus Brunner, which lets you select which of your
generic aircraft appear as AI and how often, etc. Search for
ga-traffic_setup.zip for FS9 and fsx_ga-traffic_setup.zip for FSX.

Hope this helps.
