That must be what my friend was talking about earlier this afternoon.
He said that they painted a 747 in SeaHawks color/logo and were flying
it around this area today.

Painting a 747 costs BIG bucks.

It's clear now.. the invisible sky righting was done at 12,000 ft and
200 KTS +/- 20KTS.

I saw the page below when the OP appeared, but it didn't register...
exactly what was going on.

Furthermore, WRT to comments about "25-things-to-watch-for" in this
year's game, item #20 was changed from Com'ies to Referees. Yes I've
screen-cap'd both the cached Orig and Revised section. :)

We're not getting very good Super Bowl coverage in AGMFS this year!

Let's have more fun with it!

First... the big picture:
http://home.comcast.net/~flightsim/Seattle_B787-8_FP12.png

I'd say the invisible `12´ is 200 miles high, and 170 miles across.

http://home.comcast.net/~flightsim/Seattle_B787-8_US.png

Pasting the flight data into Excel 2000, you can quickly make a IAS
chart or two, and better yet.. BLOCK out the N-S and E-W flight
tracks.

http://home.comcast.net/~flightsim/B787_12_data_02.xls (455KB)

Slant tracks are in BOLD Blue. Higher speed tracks are in BOLD Red.
The 788 had THREE faster tracks: north and south legs of the `1´ and
the initial north track of the `2´.

Go ahead and play around with the data. If you want any more analysis,
ask about my rates. :)
