While looking for an F-4 on Alphasim, I tried the F-111 Aardvark. It is
wonderful. Flies great, good looking cockpits both 2D and VC. And the smoke
key produces a beautiful fuel dump burn that I've seen in real life, back in
1970. This is gonna be one of my favorites.
It's for FS9 and if someone tries it in FSX, let me know. I'm a coward to
try it myself.

Did you donwload the Alphasim F-4?

I have it and I love it. Gave it a better 2D panel though. (I'm not
big on flying in VC mode.)

Hi Walt
No, all I saw were some for fs2 or something and CFS. I am downloading a
Virtavia F-4 from the same page, at the bottom.

Now this is a great F-4! Lots of liveries, and flies like a bat outta hell.

Yeah, that's the one. Virtavia is flogging the old AlphaSim
freeware. (There's some good Vietnam era add-on liveries out there
for that one (possibly listed as Alphasim.)

Taking the cue from Tom, I downloaded this beast and have been flying
it for about a week now. Tweaked the aircraft.cfg file to get the
landing speed, top speed, about right, and am now happy with it.

Thanks for the heads-up, Tom.

Even found a whole heap of Aussie RAAF textures for it at
Flightsim.com. :-)

If you're gonna do a dump & burn over my place - give me an hours notice
first, OK? :-)

You're welcome, Walt. You've tipped me to some good aircraft too, so it's
only fair.
