Im looking for a another FMC Manual for the MD11. I have downloaded the
one from PMDGs website, but it seems very disorganized to me and I even
have some knowledge about the works of a FMC.
Is it possible to download another version of a instruction manual
somewhere...`??
Thanks
I gave up on the FMC for the cit x and just fly the plane
I found this to be true with the flight 1 Citation X but the KA 200
isn't baad
Erik, as I said to you in an earlier post, that is not the best way to
learn. If you buy the a/craft you follow the tutorials and you very soon
get to know the FMC.
This is how I did it and I can get into a cold & dark MD11 and have it
ready for departure in 10 minutes.
If you purchase the Aerosoft CD version of the PMDG MD11 you might get a
different version of the FMC manual although I suspect it will be the
same information just presented differently.

Thanks for your reply. I almost agree with you. Its because, studying the
FMC manual was how I learned the FMC in the ATR.
The one in the MD11 seems to be much more advanced and I feel I start from
scratch.
I like to know all small details on how to use the FMC.
Does the MD11 have a more realistic failures-options than the PMDG 747?

I believe it does Erik, although I don't use them - I don't fly to fail! ;-)

I don't have the plane but I know there are many flight sim tutorials on
Youtube. Some good...some not so good.

And even the not so good are mostly easier to understand than reading any
manual, as it gives you both audio and visual input, without wasting time on
explaining what keeps the plane aloft :o)
Google is still a good friend of mine, but Youtube is closing in on being my
best pal, when it comes to adding new tricks to the book :o)
