post FS98 CD key..

I bought the game..but I lost the CD key when I had to rebuild my system..

You will find the key on the back of the jewel case the original CD came in.
But then again, you probably lost the jewel case too.....

Is this the product ID consisting of loads of numbers plus OEM ?
If so why bother with it? I never have except for a load of 1's and the
world hasn't collapsed around me yet. In fact this is what the Gateway
helpline told me to do when I first bought this PC.

The CD key is only applicable to the CD that is in the jewel case, correct
me if I am wrong ? So that unless you have the key that came with the
paticular cd, it aint going to work ?

My UK CD (bought from PCWorld in York in 1998) has no key to enter. When you
install it, it just "works" and gives you an ID number for your
registration. Maybe it's based upon your name, or is hardcoded onto the CD.
