Capcom Announces Wave Scanner for Nintendo DS Ryuusei No Rockman (Megaman)

Capcom put on sale a card scanner 'Wave Scanner Pegasus / Leo / Dragon'
for its Nintendo DS platform action RPG Ryuusei no Rockman.
Besides being as a stand alone Ryuusei no Rockman toy, the Wave Scanner
can read data from the Wave Battle Cards of the "Wave Transer" toy
(made by Takara Tomy) and transfer the data to the Nintendo DS Ryuusei
no Rockman game.
Trasnferring the card data to the DS Ryuusei no Rockman will give a
power up to the Rockman ability and possibility of battle card
modification in the DS game.
The scanner will be available in stores in late February. Presale will
be available in the "25th World Hobby Fair" being held in Japan from
Jan 14 to Feb 4.
