I can't stand the look of the menu for version .148.. I prefer this
version that I have on an older version http://newbiespain.galeon.com/Emuladores/Mame32.JPG

Any way to run an older version with the newer roms???

TIA

Some games will work, some won't.

-7. I just made an extra 2 meg of space in /, I stripped /vmunix.
Oh, so that's why ps doesn't work.

Gotcha.. I guess I'll try and see what happens. I only play a handful
of games any ways so hopefully they'll work.

Thanks

MameUI hasn't had official supprt for some time now. It just happened
to be that 147 and all u-iterations still worked with the current code
base, so we were still able to make MameUIs for 147.

Things changed enough in 148 that would require a code change to the
UI code to get it to compile. Looks like MameUI is now dead at the
latest 147u version.

If you still want a graphical interface, there is IV-Play, which is
from the same person who did the MameUI code (I think), which is a
pure front-end and uses the Mame.exe to actually play the games, as
opposed to having it built into itself like MameUI was.
