Yes and no. They're having some problems but everything should be back
to normal soon. In the interim, add the following to your hosts file:
216.144.214.105 www.mameworld.net
That should sort your problem.

Thanks. :)

We aren't dead! Our primary URL has changed to...
...and all hosted sites have moved there as well. It's a much
better, more reliable server than Ztnet (who we only use for
redirects at the old .net URL).
Also, the front page news updates are fast & furious now because
I just finished a script which automatically displays all news
submissions posted on our forum.

Why get a new domain because you changed hosts? Why not just point the
old domain to the new host?

We've had & used .info and its host since 2003 BTW (for the
messageboard).
The problem related to .net and its Ztnet hosting - both of
which are completely unreliable, and both of which are
controlled by them. They badly let .net expire this year and we
finally moved everything over so that wouldn't occur again.
Furthermore, we aren't even sure how much longer Ztnet will be
around. They even let their own domain expire which is rather
ominous. So clearly, the wise move was to flee that ship before
it sinks.
And weren't able to transfer registrars?
> And weren't able to transfer registrars?
Correct. Ztnet registered the domain & won't reply after
repeated attempts to do so. It's a lost cause.
