I did those trials (using another nickname) 15 years ago or more I
don't recall.
A couple days ago I felt nostalgic about USENET so I looked for a
couple free/open servers to see what's going on... and this is what a
found
Usenet is like the Monkey Island (tm) itself and these are the
characters
1. Guybrush Treepwood: The guy that is looking for something, grabing
everything he can but not caring about other people in the island.
2. Herman Toothroot: The guy that has been expected visits in the
island for a long time and craves for a good conversation but it is
annoyed by the canibals
3. The canibals: The trol tribe that SPAMS groups with meds, hot
dates, webhostings and such
4. The ghosts under the monkey face: those lurking people won't
interact unless they are realy interested in something
