What style would y'all want it in?

Live action?

Life-like animation

"Curse of MI" style?

Computer generated?

Just currious...

I've always been partial to the animation from "Curse"... The voices fit the
characters, and the animation fit the games...

I've always been a fan of Kenny Falmouth... that kid was drawn PERFECT!

Anyways, I'll quit rambling now.

Yes, but that guy from Dawson's Creek as Guybrush. He looks and sounds

Animated, Curse of MI style would definitely be the best choice.

Now how about the plot? Should it just be the plot from Escape from MI,
or should the filmmakers somehow try to combine all four games, or
should they invent a new story altogether?

It has to be live-action, then everyone in Aglami could have a cameo
role. As Jedi, or pirates, or the sea, or something.

I'd be happy if they made it a serialised cartoon. A bit like Futurama but
better drawn and with pirates instead of robots (one eyed ladies are okay,
but only with an eyepatch over the non-functional eye, instead of just one
single eye). No CGI, MI3 style is more cartoony.

They could use the Monkey Island adventures as a basis for arcs in the first
season.

Yes, that. Inventing a new story wouldn't work, you wouldn't have any

I stand by my opinion that the movie should be animated, not live action.

The movie has more of a chance getting made at all, if it's animated
(costs less), plus it's much easier to keep the visual style of the games.

One computer game which would be fun to make a movie out of, would be
DIABLO 2.

I tried, just for fun, to paste together a functional storyline based on
the game (and its expansion pack). It turned out pretty good, actually.

So DIABLO -The Movie definitely has some potential, especially in these
days of LOTR and Harry Potter craziness.

A Diablo movie would be like LOTR, without the story.

Well yeah, if you follow the story of the games, which don't HAVE much
of a story.

However, like I said, it's quite possible to make a good story based on
the Diablo universe. I sat down and examined the possibilities a few
days ago, and found out that there is definitely a LOT of potential!

Also, the story in LOTR is quite similar, basically.

LOTR: A group of people must travel to a location where they can
destroy the ring.
Diablo: A group of people must travel to a location where they kan kill
Diablo and his brothers.
