It appears to be his personal business card. But I'm not going to open it.

...it's not a binary. it's a a vcf, it's like a calling card, and some
newsreaders show them as binaries but they're not really, it's just a sig.
it's all of 232 bytes, and hardly going to ruin your usenet experience...

it contains his email address, his telephone number, his name and some other
stuff.

In that case he should get rid of it for his own privacy, I would not want
my phone number plastered all over Usenet.

It's not a good idea to post personal info in a news group.

Or tell him that we're the FBI and are about to raid his house for his dope
stash. :-)

I'm assuming that the FBI is the relevant US authority.

Yep, Ponch and Jon. I love how every ep featured an exploding car, no
matter how improbable. Woman backs her car into the garage door: BOOOOOM!

There's alot of really creepy people here buddy. We'd do weird stuff like
sneak around your house in the middle of night and poke holes in you garden
hose with tooth picks so that next time you go to use it it sprays water all
over you. Or we might go around shooting roman candles at your windows,
yelling "Meteor Shower!!!!!!". Or we might re-route all of your neighbors
phone lines to your house (yes, it's possible). Or we might even call the
cable company claiming to be you and change you cable package to include
only pr0n channels, and while we're at it, we'll let your ISP know that you
own a warez ring that also recently hacked into their financial records.

My point is, Usenet people are scary buddy. Watch your back. Me, I'm
Canadian. No way in hell I'd do any of that. Too much effort. It's easier
to just sit here and threaten. Is it true you can get up to 9 years in
prison in the US just for a death threat? You give a death threat in
Canada, and you get your ass kicked.
