Anyone know what to do with the combining of items?

Just wondering what the other items do in the general store run by Betty
Fung in Alruco in JA2:UB.
I know the follow which might help someone out :
duct tape + glue + steel tube/pipe = barrel extender
rod + spring = AP enhancer
soda can + string = trip can (I think. Someone check fo rme please)
That's all I can rememebr for now but the JA2 combinations from the FAQ's
out there don't with with JA2:UB. I want to know what the walkman, golf
clubs, watch, porno, films, etc will do in the game? CanI combine some items
together to make something else?

Nothing at all. The only things you can 'modify', other than explosives, are
glass jars. You use them on Queen Crepitus' body to get the armor-enhancing
jelly. Maybe. Never tried it myself.

I was talking about JA2:UB but I guess the items cross over from JA2 to UB.
Crap. WTF do all those items do at that BETTY FUNG's store? WTF do you do
with a golf club, cigars, etc.

Oh, ok. Trouble is, they STILL don't do a damn thing. I've heard somewhere -
but keep in mind that's WILD speculation - that walkman or portable TV *may*
keep mercs' morale higher, but then they'll suck big time at interrupts.

Yup it's in UB and works good. Too bad x-ray tubes are HARD to find.

Yup the X-ray detector lacks batteries when your make it. You get about 4-5
uses off it on full batteries.

I don't really remember. I don't have UB, I borrowed and beat it about a
year ago. There's 2 stores IIRC. The store that doesn't deal in guns I
think will deal in all the other stuff. I know there's stores in ja2 that
you can sell this stuff at. Most of it is pretty worthless, though. I
think a box of cigars is worth about $8. Not worth the trouble. The
platinum watch and the plate are both worth a few hundred bucks, though. I
think. And the video camera.

In UB there are only 2 stores. 1. Betty Fungs (only convience store in
Alruco, Stock up while you can :) *shameless plug fo rthe store :)*) 2. The
Arms dealer.
