Freeing dynamo from tixa prison

Have you asked him to join you? Have a merc with high leadership do the asking.
Dynamo is an expert lockpick, so once he joins, exit the battle map to the
sector map, go to the equipment screen and give him some lockpicks (I hope you
brought or found some in the prison.) With some picks, Dynamo can crack just
about any lock you can put in front of him....

The keys for opening the cell doors to the prison are in the dungeon at Tixa.
You have to go down there and kill off all of the bad guys then take their
keys. Also, Dynamo will probably keep on refusing to join you. You just have
to keep on going back and bugging him. Once I had to liberate the prison four
times before he finally joined me.

Also, when you go into the dungeon make sure that you take a lot of smoke
grenades, some LAWS and some dynamite.

Pick up every key you see and collect them all on one merc's keyring.

Merc with high leadership (eg Buns) -> Talk 'Direct' until he explains why
he's in jail (it starts with "My crime? I was told to attend one of the
Queen's speeches and clap loudly...") -> Recruit -> Give him a locksmith
kit -> Get _him_ to unlock the door. It is a good idea to visit his brother,
the mine keeper in Alma because this boosts Alma's loyalty.
