Fireball Spell - Where is it!

Can anyone tell me where I can get Fireball spells, as they would come in
really handy in the Troll caves.
I have searched every item I can find, and whilst I have found lots of
spells, no Fireball!
My Mage has access to level 3 spells, but the man in the tower at Kuldahar
does not offer FB for sale.
Any advice appreciated

Did you meet the lizard king in the first Dragon's Eye map? If so, look in
the snake.

I think it's there somewhere on this level but you really don't need
fireballs to battle trolls. Hack them to 0HP and pour flaming oil over
them. Many (if not all) of the Lizard Men shamans have it so loot their
bodies.

Alternatively, a number of lower-level mage spells will do the trick -
Burning Hands, Agannazar's Scorcher and Melf's Acid Arrow are the ones that
spring to mind. Just remember to only use the fire/acid attack to finish off
the troll, after it falls over but before it regenerates enough to get up
again. The rest of the time, just use normal weapons.

I found that I could always kill off two Trolls at a time with Burning
hands by attacking from the right direction while they were at 0 hit points.

Yep, and if you manage to get them lined up on the floor, you can get three
at a time with Agannazar's Scorcher. :)

I have finished Dorn's deep, found some great magical items and some quite
powerful spells, but no fireball spell. I am an invoker, and the lightning
bolt tends to get out of controll and zapping my party. I Wanr a
