Environment;
- An ice/snow level has potential to be interesting?
- Large ships are boring; I sincerely hope we see some interesting
variation on the large ship theme.
- I can envisage the concluding chapter in the Combine homeworld in a
"the portal may only be sealed from the other side" type- scenario.
Vehicles
- I wonder if we get to fly Alyx's helicopter?
Enemies:
- The Advisors obviously;
- While I'm over Antlions and Zombies, it would be okay to see them in
their natural habitat, ie in the Combine homeworld.
- The return of houndeyes and bullsquibs while unlikely, cannot be
ruled out if we're travelling off-word.
- I'm also over Striders in a major way
Weapons
- Some form of anti-grav weapon to kill Advisors.
- The ASHPD is a distinct possibity.
Friendly Characters:
- GF will obviously get directions from Magnusson and Kleiner.
- I'd like to get some conclusion with Barney
Especially since it potentially allows much larger levels due to less details.

See above - this only makes sense with really large levels. But I hope so too :)

Seconded.

The ASHPD works best (engine-wise) in a controlled environment with straight surfaces. It also would be distinctly less useful (practice-wise) in a large environment lacking in flat, vertical surfaces. (i.e. snow landscape)

I also hope there will be a tie-in with Aperture Science and the events
from Portal somewhere along the road. I think a large ship with portal
stuff in it could be fun. I doubt we'll see Chell, as she wasn't in a
snowy environment, but some more background information is always good.
Lemme just throw a really freaky idea out here .. headcrabbed advisors. advizormbies? Naaah.

Well, Valve have said that Portal is part of the Half-Life universe, so that one is looking good. Borealis as the setting of Portal? It's pretty clear that the Combine does not have localized portal technology, which is a weird omission for a civilization capable of shaping cataclysmic events into superportals. A different technological basis, perhaps? I'm thinking Mossman/Kleiner really need to get in contact with their counterparts in Aperture Science and swap notes :)

Agh. Didn't mean Mossman. Whatever the scientist guy's name in Ep3 was. .. MAGNUSSEN. Him.
