What do the netgraph colors mean? Is there any online description of them?

Try this link Mr. Ookbert;
http://guides.barrysworld.com/cs/tweaking

Also there used to be another in depth guide at www.3dspotlight.com ,
but it looks to be obsolete now :-( Maybe you can find it.

There seems to be a lot of info there, but it looks like they don't tell you
what the colors mean - which what I'm looking for :-(

Okay, I think I found it. This is probably a dead link now;
http://www.3dspotlight.com/tweaks/half-life/hl11.shtml
but the information I got there a while back states that;
RED: player specific data for you only
YELLOW: other player data
PURPLE: other entity data
LIGHT BLUE: event data
DARK BLUE: temporary entity data
GREEN: sound data
GRAY: user defined message data
WHITE DOT: (at top net graph 2 only) size of full packet
What most of that means, I haven't a clue. The sight states that information
is directly from Yahn Bernier of Valve.
Also I guess you can change the height? by changing the net_scale to a
different setting. Green hash marks equal 50 bytes per mark, and there are
smaller hash marks at 10 bytes per mark.
HTH

for speeding your fps when using netgraph use net_graph 3. This removes the
addition graphical representation, hereby restoring your fps.

Yeah, net_graph can sure suck fps - but when I turn it off, fps is usually
bouncing around 90 or so. With it on it drops to 60 or so. It's nice having
some horsepower under the hood for a change, I used to use a Mystique 220 -
very nice in it's day, but a real POS by todays standards. Umm, I love my
GeForce2 :-)
