I don't believe Medusa has graced us with his/her words of wisdom before. I
have come across Digger here before but not enough for him to be an
semi-regular.

Anyways why on earth did that guy not put a.g.h-l.tfc in instead of a.g.h-l?
Stupid huh. Perhaps he realised the peeps of a.g.h-l.tfc are fanatical about
the best MP game on the planet.

A "troll" is a message posted (often cross-posted to opposition newsgroups)
in a deliberate attempt to stir up trouble or start a flame-war. This exact
same question has been posted numerous times in the past as a troll.

"Troll" can also refer to a person who posts trolls, or goes "trolling."

Actually, I read and replied to a post from groundpounder the other day,
which said that he was new to NGs. Unless he is a very devious troll, I
believe that.

Unfortunately he has been a little naive, not realising that this kind of
message is often deliberately posted to propagate flame wars between, let's
say, "rival" games NGs.

Obviously most people in these two groups are wise to that particular ploy!

It's the text encoding that he's using. On IE4, once you set it back to
West.European (or whatever) it remembered from then on for that type of

I suggest, we just let the newer guys (more eager to prove themself) do all
the work from now on, while we just sit back and enjoy the show.....and get
quite pissed on warm, foamless beer (Dutch people drink cold beer, with foam
on top....idiots)

Who doesn't drink ice cold beer with that lovely foam head?
I think I'll settle here and enjoy the ensuing questions on, bots, the

ok, ok some ice cold beer is ok....don't like most of the Dutch beers

I'd rather have me a Belgian or English beer....had some really good beers

LOL! I knew it Anders. You're one of those Swedes rolling round in the mud
in a drunken stupor every year, aren't you?? Drinking lukewarm beer diluted
with two parts piss and one part rainwater :-)

Seriously, though: You're a regular at Roskilde?

(Explanatory note to the rest of the world: Danes and Swedes have this
little .. erm, "debate" on how to drink. The Danes get drunk in a highly
civilized and educated manner, where as the Swedes drink till they drop.
And then drink some more. That's seen from the Danish POV. I'm sure the
Swedes sees it the other way around ;-) )

A fine old tradition, it is!

>Seriously, though: You're a regular at Roskilde?

Actually, it`s been several years since I was there last, but I have
fond memories of it. I remember that Motorhead became quite adept at
dodging incoming piss bottles over the years. :)

No, that`s pretty accurate, actually. The Finns take it one step
further though. They simply keep drinking until they die. :)

See you - Anders.
