Thanks Rene: It was a fine day. Made 4 pies (2 apple, 2 pumpkin and 1 mince
meat), two dozen rolls. Drove up to Minneapolis to a gathering at the
daughter's. Lot's to be thankful for. I think a little work on Strider
Mountain will top off an excellent holiday.

Thanks ya'll from the great state of Texas!!!

Had a great Thanksgiving Day... Big meal at home with Lady Fodder 1
and Lady Fodder 2......

Lots to be greatful for this year.... A month ago my boss of 21 years
called me to his office on a friday... He handed me my check and told
me that I was no longer needed... Being 73 in a slim job market is not
an envyable position to be in.... Went downstairs to have a cigarette
and ponder my options.... A smoking buddy was there who owns a company
in the same building that does big business in the medical field...
Told him I was canned... He said GREAT because he had been wanting to
solicit me but didn't think it was ethical.... Started work monday for
more money and fewer hours... Is this a great country or what????
