Help on HL "Questionable Ethics"

On "Questionable Ethics" wen I have to turn on all four lasers in each of
the four rooms at the end of the hallways. Find the room with the sign that
reads "Do Not Obstruct Laser Shield".

I can´t move the crate so that it obstructs the laser. There's a step and
the crate does't moves up it!!
How can I block the laser?

You just need to prevent the guard shield from coming down.

You don't have to move the crate up to block the actual laser. All you have
to do is push it against the step so that when the laser shield comes down
it gets blocked by the crate doesn't block off the laser. The laser can then
still bore through the wall cos the shield is out of the way.
