Stuck in surface tension: In the hall with all the trip bombs I cant get the
first elevator (the one guided by two bombs) to work. The control panel is
flashing wildly and nothing happens?!

I think you may need to smash a box on the elevator before it can go up.
Otherwise it's probably a bug.

Yes, it is. It is a kind of rocket hangar. I reached the elevator to the
control room, smashed the box on it. Went to the control room, activated the
elevator, jumped from this elevator to the one in the middle of the hangar.
Everything pretty cool, but I can not activate it. What shall I do?

Is that how it's done?! I finished SP twice, and both times I ended up
moving boxes around to jump on them and then into the elevator in the middle
of the room to avoid laser mines. D'oh!

Well I must say this does sound strange. I had no problem, and this
is the first I've heard of anyone having a problem. Assuming, you
patched the game to the most recent version, if crouching down and
hitting the use key doesn't work, I'd say you found an odd bug. Just
make sure you are facing right at the switch........sorry, not sure
what else to tell you, there are no secret switches for it or
anything, exactly what you did should be it, it should work for you.
