Ok, I finally found my way out of those annoying tunnels, figured out how to
avoid being blown to bits on the laser-trapped stairway, sniped off a few
soldiers in the control room, and hit the "Launch" button for the rocket.
Sure enough, the rocket launches. Yay.

So now what? The rotating globe readout in the next room still says that the
satellite array is "offline". The big door that (I think) was supposed to
open out in the courtyard area beyond the red blast doors is still closed,
and I am not sure what to do next.

Did I do something wrong somewhere? I reviewed a couple of walkthroughs for
this level and I can't find anything that I missed. I'd appreciate any words
of wisdom on this one.

Go back through the big doors you came in from. I forget if you have to
turn left or right. I think it is left (just after the doors) becuase right
is just were you came from, on a rail.

No, your doing fine. You need to back track to the building where you
heard the two guards talking about you. There are quite a few red
doors around so check them all.

If they really are all shut that it must be a glitch in the game so
reload from before when you launched the rocket and try again.

Hope this helps

I think there's some kind of glitch in the game that doesn't make the doors
outside open. I had this problem this morning, and I fixed it by just loading
the game from before I went up the booby-trapped stairs. After I launched the
rocket again, I went outside, and the doors were open.
