L4D2 4pack preorders

I took the plunge & bought a $135 l4d2 4pack on steam, and had no problems
finding people on shacknews to chip in for a copy ($35US), not a bad deal.
Probably even a better deal for Europeans if you can find someone in the US
to make the purchase, because of the steam pricing structure. Here's the

You gotta give it to those guys at Valve. They know how to suck you
in with attractive digital download bundling, which you would never
see in a physical format.

... but isn't Valve the publisher for L4D2 so can decide the price
whereas they aren't for Risen?

I was referring more to their bundles, where they sell like 5 or 6
titles from one publisher: like the 2K bundle, THQ bundle, and a few
others.

Price gouging would be charging $60 for Risen. Charging $50 is simply
charging the MSRP.
