never cheated. but i absolutely **dominated** everywhere I played. i
was probably banned from at least 40+ servers and kicked about 50
times. it was common for me to have scores of 29-3 or 45-4. i don't
mean once in a while like some of you "kings of cs", but all the
fucking time. my best score was 68-1. the hallmark of a dominate
player is consistency. anyway, good and shitty players accused me of
cheating, the admins thought i cheated, blah blah. typical noobish
stuff..
because I was banned from so many servers, i thought what the fuck,
let's start cheating.. what have i got to lose? so now I hack like a
mofo..
the problem with cs is there are too many fucking 13 year olds who
think they know everything. they are too stupid to tell whether
someone is hacking or not. i have been banned less often since i
started hacking. more proof that most admins don't know shit about
this game.

Yes, I play CS. Yes, I still call myself a noob. No, I don't cheat.

It started the other day, just got home from work, g/f still asleep (I work
nights, so this is about 5am), boot up PC and head straight to my favourite
server (Cowshed In The Sky for those interested). Its a WC3 Server, and I'm
joining about halfway through the map, so I'm expecting to get wasted big
(worse than my 1 kill in 5 deaths average. Said I was a noob). What I
don't expect is to get wasted by a doubletap to the head from round a corner
when the dude can't have seen me. There were the usual hacker accusation
being bandied round, and I'm watching the rest of the round from my killer's
1st preson view. He then proceeds to do the same four or five more times
over the next couple of rounds. No previous sight of the victim, and in most
cases, no sound from them either. Every time, a perfect doubletap headie, to
a blind target. So I'm all 'can these hacks really be that good?', hence
set about looking for some. Found a few choice suspects, downloaded them,
and tried them out, on the UK2 servers. I would appologise to anyone that
was one any of those games that morning (I'm [P*]Starion, btw), but I
actually managed to play WORSE with the cheats installed. So, they've now
been expunged from my HD, and I'm back to playing normal.
What I want to know is, why do you cheaters feel the need to cheat? Don't
give me this 'Cos so-and-so's way too good on my server' crap. So? Someone's
better than you. GET OVER IT! Just think, somewhere out there, there's
someone else that'd cream your server's top players. There's always a
bigger dog in the next yard. All you cheaters are doing is making it a
miserable experience for any noob players that may be around. Remember, it's
ONLY A GAME. Yeah, I get creamed all the time by other people. Other times,
I'll get a round when I'm on fire. Shit happens. I play CS because it's a
game I enjoy. Cheating just makes it less enjoyable. I don't mind going down
to someone with genuine skill. Had a few 1 on 1's with one of my clanmates
(a good player) and I'm generally losing anywhere between 15 -20 deaths to 1
kill. I don't care though - I've given as good as I can, that's all I can
do.
So instead of cheating your asses off and making it a bad game for everyone,
lose the cheats and get some practice in. Get a Bot program and practice
offline. Not just 1 on 1, go for a full server setup - you and 19 other
bots. It's only a game, it's supposed to be fun. If you can't see that,
even when you get wiped over the floor, you shouldn't be playing. So don't.
If you must feel like the greatest player on the planet, get a one-player
game (Duke Nukem, Quake, whatever...) and cheat on that. Hell, cheat on a
bot-only game of CS. Just leave the cheating offline.

As for those that think I'm ex-public school, hate ta bust ya bubble, but I
went to a state school, and only got a 'C' for English Lang at GSCE. Essays
were far to much like hard work. Science was more my forte.

Anyhoo - as to the original thread, if there's a cheater about, tell an
admin. It may be that they really are that good - I've seen some ridiculous
scores before, and gone to their POV when I got nailed. If they did have a
hack on, they were good enough to cover it up - only firing on targets
they'd actually seen, Aiming for centre of mass, etc....Those that have been
cheating, have been banned from my usual server.
If there's no admin at the time, spectate the suspectsa POV and demo-record
it, and pass it on to admin at a later time. If still nothing gets done, and
you have serveral players saying that player xyz is cheating, then it may be
time to look for another server. There's plenty out there to choose from,
after all, CS IS the biggest online game worldwide, isn't it?
