I think it's pretty much definite now that the next game is going to be
called "San Andreas" isn't it?

> Q: Where can I get cheats, maps, walkthroughs?

>
> Q: How do I turn off cheats?
> A: Most cheats can't be turned off once activated, so don't save your
> game if you've tried the pink cars code or anything. Some players

>
> Some people like using cheats or strategy guides, some don't.

> Rumour has it that in GTA VC, you cannot achieve 100% game if you
> use cheats. Perhaps it's only significant cheats that matter.
> Some strategy guides echo this.

> Q: I'm getting sick of the radio stations. How do I turn them off?
> A: Just go to the audio options. You can turn the radio volume down.
> This does not affect the police radio volume, just the radio.
>
> Q: [PS2 only] How do I activate or deactivate the emergency car sirens
> or the Mr. Whoopee's music, or the vehicle missions?
> A: L3 means pushing down on the left joystick, and R3 the right.
> Tap these buttons briefly and gently. Some practice may be needed.
>
> Q: How do I do drive-by shootings?
> A: You need to press the look-left or look-right buttons and press fire.
> In GTA III, only the Uzi can be used. In GTA VC you can use any of
> the sub-machine guns. Any road vehicle is suitable for drive-bys.
> In VC you can also shoot forwards from some of the motorcycles and
> you can shoot the machine gun from the Sea Sparrow and Hunter using
> the R1 button [PS2].
>
> Q: How do I get hold of a ....... vehicle?
> A: Try changing from type to type, in the hope of prompting the game

> In both GTA III and VC, different vehicles tend to hang around diff-

>
> Q: How do I make some easy money?
> A: Well, you can get small cash by doing taxi missions or just killing
> people and stealing their cash (go for the hookers, pimps and gang
> members in the right district for loaded wallets). You can also get

>
> Q: The ...... special vehicle is not in it's usual place!
> A: Run or drive around the block and it should appear. In GTA III, the
> easiest way to get the Banshee to reappear is to smash all the glass
> and drive around block. All that is needed is to move far enough away
> from the spot so that the game engine drops it's data on the location

>
> Q: How can I extract the music and sounds from PS2 GTA?
> A: visit http://members.lycos.co.uk/ripperoo/audio_ripping/ and follow
> the instructions. The tools and guidelines apply for GTA III and also
> for VC. Apart from the .VB sound files, be aware that the .PSS files
> may also contain sound. The GTA III intro music is in one of these.
>
> Q: Will GTA III or VC come out on Gamecube, X-Box or others?
> A: Well, X-box has arrived now. Welcome aboard, X-Box-G's.
> Gamecube is not considered likely at this time. Sony has negotiated
> an exclusive deal FOR CONSOLES which means PS2 (and PC) are the only
> platforms which get new GTA games. X-box was clearly considered a
> sizeable market for Rockstar once the exclusivity deal expired on

> Q: Is that all the GTA General non-spoilers you'll post?
