I'm just curious to know whether we can expect to see
big-eyed anime style drawings of Jakallan slave girls in
sailor suits. Or giant transforming Ru'un battles?

Unlikely.

BTW, I disagree with Torben's assessment of Tri-Stat. I think it's a great
medium-light system suitable for a wide range of non-anime games. It's about on
the level of Unisystem for complexity. And very generic.

Given the amount of clothing that the women wear in many anime
series, it seems it would be a natural for nearly-naked Tekumal
characters. ;'/

Of course if I were to recommend any artist to draw Tekumal, I'd go
for Carla Speed McNeil. Her manga influence is secondary to the
fact that she knows how to draw a wide variety of people extremely
well. For giving a sense of a different place, she'd be number one-
but she is probably out of GOO's price range.

As someone mentioned, it can be made as complex as necessary- and
it's easy to port systems into it.

People tend to underestimate the impact of scientific progress.
Why just fifty years ago, only a few people had even heard of DNA,
and now everybody who is somebody uses it!

Nothing is out of the price range of the Great Old Ones!

Oh.

Never mind.

Also, I kept reading "BESM" as "Bug-Eyed Space Monster",
which is also wrong.
