As long as I know, there is no (for obvious reasons) cheats in
freeciv. Most obvious reason is, Freeciv is open source. So, if you
want any cheats, you have to make them by yourself. Personally, I
don't find any reasons to cheat on _online_ game like Freeciv...

So, do your source dive and try to find some exploits... it's pretty
much your only way...:)

You can play in team against "teamless" opponents :)

It gives big advantage when team members exchange technical advances, "known
world maps" and conduct coordinated attacks.

Also, if you are playing a local game, you can change the .ruleset
files (write permissions to the files is of course a prerequisite)
and by so doing, make changes as simple as making the Mech. Inf. more
