I had to hit ctrl-alt-delete and totally exit the game. (It wouldn't
reactivate.) Which totally blew the game.:(

Umm, Gravity, you know the game autosaves every turn, right? You'll wnat
to be loading "saves/auto/Alpha Centauri Autosave 1.SAV", assuming you
haven't started a new game. If you're not in Iron Man, it even keeps 5,
10, and 30 year (IIRC) backups for you..
And to tell you the truth. Thanks for reminding me. I forgot about the
backups. :)

Yes I have just started having that problem. First game at talent level
around year 2390 or so. Always during the computers move and usually Yangs
move. It is really getting to be a bother. Playing map of planet on iron
man as Deidre. I have tried to get through this portion of the game now
about three times. First time it happened I had been playing about four
hours. Getting to be a real drag now.
Write to Jeff Morris (jmo...@firaxis.com), who can help you diagnose
the problem.
We have one known lockup involving enemy missile units (symptom: locks
repeatedly at a particular point in a particular players' turn, even
when reloaded from autosave). This problem has been corrected for
version 3.0, which is now in test. We sincerely apologize for the
inconvenience.
