Any one know how many copy's of the game have been sold so far? How does the
sales compare to CIVII?

So far I mostly just get anecdotal things like "we're #1 in Germany
this week". Significantly better sales than same weeks of Civ2. Of
course Civ2 shipped w/o much marketing.

Can you give us anecdotal info on the royalty checks? :-) That should
settle it. Hmmm...Seems like you could note, anecdotally, that it is
certain to be one of Firaxis' top two games ever...hee hee...

In all seriousness, you guys did a tremendous job with this game, and
you deserve to have a winner here. I think it'll be worth it.

Now...As to the remake of Covert Action...Given any thought to it? We
need a good puzzle/mystery/action game. I loved messing with the circuits
and decoding documents, and figuring out where the terrorists would strike
next. If you consider this I'll drive up to the office and drop off
expensive chocolate sufficient to consider the decision...:-)

German (and also French and UK) players can now download version 2.0
of SMAC from www.firaxis.com.

We'll try to get it posted to www.alphacentauri.com as soon as
possible.
