You have to go to Gaia and find the fairy sping and just use the bottle
there. If you don't know where Gaia is, just find a town that looks like
four houses next to a mountain on the world map.

Go to Gaia and take the path leading up on the left side of the village. It
will eventually lead you to a pool of water, where you can release the fairy to
get the Oxyale. Then it's off to Onrac and the Sea Shrine with you!

Nonono. There's a hidden site by the oasis in the desert where a man will
sell you the fairy for the bottle, *then* you hand it over for the oxyale.

Once, long ago, in a place called alt.games.final-fantasy, there was a
great sage known as att...@aol.com (Attakai). One of his scrolls, filed
in the Great Library of Usenet as

I can help you, my friend. Ahh, Final Fantasy... The wonderful game
that started it all (And blew Dragon Warrior 1 to 3 out of the fucking
water.) Anyway, after you get the fairy free, go to the town with the
fairy pnde (Either Gaia or that one where the sub is... I think it
Gaia).

Just don't use the bottle till you're standing next to the spring. If you
do, you've just wasted 50,000 gold.
