Stupid FF-XII tricks

I managed to bring down a Wild Saurion (toughest available monster at
that point in the game) before Vayne gave his speech to the people of
Rabanastre. It took me about 11 hours. If done right, it could
probably be done in under 10 hours.

After Vayne gives his speech but before the fete, the new toughest
available monster is the Gnoma Entite. Has anyone out there managed
to bring down a Gnoma Entite before the fete?

I was able to get my party up to comparable levels (around 47) before
the fete but I lacked the technology to avoid being blown out by the
Entite.

Not yet.
